We love going to the Bee's baseball game. The Salt Lake Bee's are a Triple A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim CA a.k.a. a farm team. The Bee's played the Sacramento River Cats.

Look...the kids are getting along! I have the picture to prove it! Cassie and Chase brought phase 10 card game to the baseball game. W.T.F. I paid $8 a person for them to play cards!?! Oh well, it was worth it. Anytime that we get to spent together as a family is an AWESOME time.

Nick Gorneault (#25) has always been our favorite player. I don't know why, maybe because he is cute or because he is the only player that we know their name. He is looking right at us, as if to say "Hello Adams' ".

Is this a paying job? They only came out twice so I would have lots of free time. I could totally do this.

I love the 7th inning stretch. I will sing the song for you. Please be parpared to be blown away by my mad singing skills. I have been told by several people that I have a freakin AWESOME voice (I'm just kiddin ya, I can't sing).

Take me out to the ball game. Take me out with the crowd. Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack. I don't care if I never get back. Let me root, root, root for the home team. If they don't win it's a shame. For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out. At the old ball game.

The Bee's won 5 to 3. YEAH!!!! I can honestly say they won because we were there. They had lost the night before.

Today is my brother Lawrence Patrick Gleason's 51st birthday. Larry is the oldest of us 6 kids.

Who's Your Dentist?

Courtney, Me, Carley and Shane had our 6 month dental checkup together. Our dentist is Dr. Spencer Wade (Dr. Glen Wade's son). This was not your ordinary dentist appointment.

Carley and I went back in a room together, while we were waiting and waiting we decided to play dentist. Let me give everyone some advise. Don't leave Carley and I alone in a room with boredom! Carley was the dentist first, I was the patient and the photographer (yes, I can take pictures of myself).

Carley even used the tools. If Shane, Courtney or Cassie was in the room with us they would be dying by now. They are the conservatives in our family.

Now it was my turn to play the dentist. Guess who just walked in the room? Dr. Wade. He looked shocked! I think that Carley and I were the first people he had caught playing dentist. He said to us "well, I guess you don't need me" and started walking out of the room. We started laughing.

Good news, NO cavities for any of us! Yeah!!

Monroe Over The 4th of July

What better way to celebrate Independence Day then in the Monroe Mountains camping. Have I ever told you, "WE" (yes, I am authorized to speak for my family) "WE" heart camping!?!

The red devil in the sign below is suppose to represent the Paiute Indian trail. I am not sure why because I don't see a resemblance between an Indian and a red devil, do you? The 01 and the person on the ATV is suppose to represent me. #1 ATV rider, do you see it?

Carley is scoping for deer and elk. Shane loves it when the girls get involved in wildlife.

Look at what she found. Not really, Gunner and Dori found the deer skeleton. Our dogs love to chew on deer antlers. Bingo! What a nice treat.

Shane and Mike cooked out on the BBQ grill while Jenn and I just sit back and relax! And boy, did we need to relax.

Monroe Peak is 11,217 feet (3,418.94 meters) above sea level and it's freakin COLD. No, we didn't hike. Come on, you know us better then that. We rode our ATV's to the top.

In this open area was Henry Torgerson's saw mill, it was in operation from 1914 thru 1936.

Shane has always took pride in his checker skills. He has always kicked our butts but NOT now. Courtney gave him a run for his money. She won 2 out of 3 games!

Shane was able to beat Carley but she gave him a run for his money also. Carley went down fighting to the very end.

Our dogs heart camping also, they get to run free. They stay within eye view of us because they are afraid of being lost.

Truck Crashes Into House; Couple Injured

I was driving to Syracuse last night and 2000 west was closed so I had to take a detour. On my way back home an hour later it was still closed. Well, that peeked my curiosity. I went to investigate, here is what I found.

Truck crashes into house; couple injured
DAVIS COUNTY -- A West Point couple suffered serious injuries when a truck came crashing through their bedroom wall Wednesday night.
Sheriff's officials have arrested two drivers involved in the crash.
Deputies say around 7 p.m., two trucks, a blue Dodge Dakota and a silver Dodge Ram, were speeding south on 2000 West when a pickup truck hauling a fifth-wheel trailer pulled into traffic in an attempt to make a left-hand turn.
Cameron Scott, the driver of the Dakota, crashed directly into the trailer, smashing it to pieces. Dustin McLaughlin, who was driving the Ram, tried to swerve out of the way.
"The silver truck tried to avoid the accident, came across here and careened right into the house," said Sgt. Dan Yeaman with the Davis County Sheriff's Office.
The young couple who lived in the house near 550 North had just gotten into bed for the evening when the truck smashed through their bedroom wall and came to a stop about four feet into the room.
Deputies say when the truck hit the house, it sent debris flying through the bedroom. They couldn't confirm whether the truck actually landed on the bed where the couple was laying.
The the man was flown to McKay Dee Hospital in critical condition with leg and chest injuries. The woman suffered injuries to her head and hip and was taken to McKay Dee by ambulance in serious condition.
Both are expected to survive.
As for the three drivers involved in the crash, all of them suffered only minor injures.
Deputies say the couple's twin children were in a bedroom in a different part of the house at the time of the crash. Neither was hurt.
Scott and McLaughlin were arrested Wednesday night on charges of reckless driving and exhibition of speed. Both trucks have been impounded.
Troopers estimate the trucks were traveling at 70 miles per hour when the drivers started to break. Witnesses told investigators one of the trucks was following the other very closely at the time of the crash.
The driver of the truck pulling the trailer, Henry Kidd, was cited for failure to yield.
