Hogle Zoo - Mothers Day 05/09/2010

For Mother's Day we went to the Hogle Zoo along with every other mother out there. It was crowed but we still had fun. Almost every woman there was pregnant or just had a baby. I, of course don't fall in either of these areas because I have been fixed. YEAH for me!

My memory data bank in my brain is full so therefore I do not remember what all the animals are called. I need to find the delete button to remove some of the useless information that I am still holding on to.

Red Panda

Penguin's

Rhinoceros
Baby Zuri and her mom Christie

Elephant

Orangutan

Gorilla

The zoo has two Bald Eagle's and both of them only have one wing each. There was a woman standing next to her child and said " The zoo removed one of their wings so that they don't fly away". Really...are people really that dumb?? Both Eagle's had injured wings and the wings had to be amputated. The zoo would NEVER remove the whole wing so the Eagle won't fly away.

This little monkey was looking at Carley's finger. It was so cute.

Giraffe

Snow Leopard

Some people really needs to look in the mirror before they leave their house. This outfit is NOT cute! Also, your lace is coming off.

After the zoo we went to dinner at Chipotle.

I had a wonderful Mother's Day. I'm so proud to be the mother of Cassie, Courtney and Carley. I love you all!!!

Eye Liner Tattoo

Today 05/04/2010 Pam and I decided to get our eye liner tattooed on. Holy Shit!! We went to MariaIsabel Villalobos who is a Master Esthetician in Layton. Pam has had her eye liner tattooed before but I was a virgin. Let me clarify the statement about me being a virgin. I am a virgin when it comes to eye liner being tattooed on.

Maria pricks your head and then drops a little drop of dye to see if you are allergic to the dye. Pam and I both passed the test.

The white stuff on Pam's eye is a cream that is used to numb the eye lid. I wonder why they don't use this cream when you go to a tattoo parlor?

I was going to pass out if I kept watching so that's why I only got four pictures of Pam. I don't do good at the sight of blood, or watching someone go through pain. Call me a wuss if you want but I like to think it's because I'm tender hearted.

Now it's my turn.WOW...HOLY SHIT...THIS FREAKIN HURTS!! This pain is not like my other tattoo's I have had. I would like you all to think that I am tough but really I wasn't! I thought Pam was kind of a boob until I got on the table. Oh hell no, she was tough compared to me!

Maria kept telling me to hold still. I tried really really hard. Its was super hard!! I wanted to shut my eye and Maria could lift my eye lid up but she told me I had to keep my eye open.

This is my Gene Simmons look. I totally rock this look!!

Tooth Fairy Rip Off!

Carley lost a tooth on Saturday 05/01/2010 and on Sunday 05/02/2010. The tooth she lost on Saturday was at her dance competition and the Tooth Fairy left her $1.00.

I guess that one dollar was not enough because Carley wrote on the plastic bag to the Tooth Fairy "will you please give me 2 dollars"?

Carley woke up Monday morning to find that the Tooth Fairy only left her $1.00. Boy was she mad! She came into our bedroom and said " The Tooth Fairy is a rip off!! You don't even get what you want!! I asked for $2.00 and she only gave me $1.00!!"

In the Tooth Fairy defense:
  • Maybe she only had $1.00.
  • Maybe that's the going rate.
  • Maybe she doesn't know how to read.
  • Maybe the economy has affected her also.

Let's not get upset with the Tooth Fairy. After all she is a Wonderful, Beautiful, and Caring Tooth Fairy ever!!

Grandpa John Moe

Since we was in Provo for Carley's dance competition we went to the cemetery to see my Grandpa John's head stone. I have not been there since he died. I am not one who goes to the cemetery to visit because it makes me think about death and not living. I don't think that I have ever been to a cemetery without crying so I choose to visit in my heart and in my mind.

His head stone is amazing! It's Beautiful! I have never seen an anchor head stone before. I love it!

I do NOT have to be related by blood to have the most MAGNIFICENT Grandpa! And he does not have to be related by blood to have the most magnificent Granddaughter! Ha Ha.

I remember how he always was drinking coffee, 24/7. Maybe that's where I got it from. See the cup of coffee in his hand?

I miss the time that we would spent together! I miss talking to you! but most of all I MISS YOU!

Grandpa John, I love you!
