Freakin Hot = Water

Today was so freakin hot that Courtney, Carley and I decided to go to my sister Anna's house to swim in her pool. Anna has a real pool not like one of those blowup ones or a kiddie pool, a real pool.

I promised Anna that I would not post pictures on my blog of her in her swim suit (I don't know why because she looks good). The pictures below are NOT Anna (I know they look a lot like Anna but trust me on this one) it's Wendy! Wendy is a strange lady who was walking by Anna's house. She looked hot so I invited her to swim with us.

I am the one wearing sunglasses in all the pictures. I can't go outside without sunglasses on because the light will give me a headache.

Wendy and I
(why does everyone do rabbit ears on me?)

Anna's dog Kofax. Kofax is my favorite of Anna's dogs.

Diesel and his mom, Cassie was already at Anna's house swimming. Diesel LOVES the water so much that you have to shut the bathroom door when you are showering (most people shut their bathroom door when it's in use but not us Adams')because he will jump in and sit under the water. Was that TMI (too much information)?
Diesel

Oh my hell! Look at how good my heal stretch is. For those of you who don't know this, I'm not even a dancer. I know, this comes as a total shock!

What a wonderful way to cool the body down!

OoOo Aaawe

We went to the fireworks for Syracuse City days. They were super oober lame.
Carley: "Dad, tell me when it's the grand finale."
Shane: "You'll be able to tell."
Shoot, the fireworks were over and Carley wasn't able to tell that there was a grand finale. The bad economy has also sucked the "oOoO and Aaawe" out of the fireworks!

Guess who is in the background doing rabbit ears?

Busted, Miss Carley!

Carley posing in her new dress that we bought for Jamie's wedding.

Mike is trying to hold back the excitement that he feels towards watching the fireworks.

Jenn is practicing her "OoOoing". I don't think I heard her OoOoing or Aaaweing all night. Humm, Maybe Mike did.

I had bug spray on and still got bit. Those stupid mosquito's!

Jamie Hill

Our dear friend Jamie was married to her sweetheart Nick today.
I met Jamie at Indivisual's where she does gel nails. Jamie and I both have pug dogs so we hit it off right away. Jamie offered to help me breed and deliver Madori's puppies. She did more then just help, she DID IT! Jamie kept Dori at her house for a week to breed her then came over when she went into labor and stayed until she was done delivering, which was 4am. Jamie had to go to work a couple hours later and never complained about needing sleep. After work she came right back over to check on her.

Ever since Madori brought us together we have built a wonderful friendship.

We love you Jamie and are so glad you found the happiness that you deserve.

Kenzie, Jamie's beautiful daughter
As Jamie was walking down the aisle she mouthed to Nick "I love you".

Thank you for letting us share in your special day.

You were a BEAUTIFUL bride!

Animals on Fathers Day

Fathers day weekend was spent in one of our favorite mountain areas, the Monroe Mountains. On our ride Friday we ran into snow that had bear tracks in it (cool and freaky). We also ran into trees along the trail and of course we didn't have a saw. We pulled the trees out of our way with Mike's RZR. Austin's friend Ricky came with them, I called him Ricky Bobby from the movie Talladega Nights.

Courtney, Ricky Tubbs (aka Ricky Bobby), Shane and Mike

Carley and Maddie found a teeter totter while waiting for us to move the trees.

We had our first cow herding experience. Cows are kind of gross. The mom cow that was ahead of us kept peeing and wagging her tail. The pee was flying all over, GROSS! All we wanted was for them to move to the side so we could get by. Note to self: Learn how to speak cow.

We saw alot of elk and deer in the meadows. They were not afraid of us, in fact they would lift their heads up as if they were posing for the picture.

There are three bull elks in the picture below. They were in the trees and it was dark so my flash didn't do so great, but we saw them.

Change Failed Me

On 06/06/2010 I changed my hair color pattern. I had lots of mixed reviews about it. I was totally fine with it until I saw a picture that KyAnn posted on facebook. I have the same picture that I posted on my blog. I was okay with it on my blog and then when she posted it on facebook I took a double take and realized I looked hideous.

Picture posted on Facebook

This is what I thought I looked like. It's really not that bad, is it?

And now after Cassie fixed it.
